Our client, a Global leading Hedge Fund is expanding its Zurich (Switzerland) office due to an increase and launch of new funds. Working in a team of Legal, Tax and Structuring professionals, you will be responsible for the tax structuring and due-diligence in relation to the private market investment activities. Duties include: - Tax structuring - Support the investment managers - Monitoring existing investments in relation to their tax efficiency and design alternatives - Instructing and managing outside tax counsels - Negotiating terms and conditions in tax matters - Training of legal team members in tax matters - Strategic tax planning matters including price transfers, result planning and compliance To qualify, you will need a degree in Finance or Law or related with Swiss certified tax expert diploma being a plus. 4 – 6 years experience as an inhouse counsel or similar – maybe from a cross-border M+A tax practice or related tax advisory. Fluent in English + German, other foreign languages are a plus but not essential.
